Artifact Blobs

Blobs are file-backed slots attached to artifacts, such as originals, thumbnails, rendered pages, transcripts, or derived recordings.

How Readers Use This

  • Check blob status before opening or relying on content.
  • Use the slot name to understand what kind of file is attached.
  • Keep source blobs connected to generated or rendered outputs.

Working Model

Every artifact has common identity and metadata. Kind-specific data explains what the artifact means, blobs hold file-backed content, links connect it to other artifacts, and events show how it changed.
