Sharing And Catalog

Sharing and catalog workflows help teams move useful context into the right workspace without losing provenance.

Sharing Workspace Context

Use share routes when a user needs to open a specific workspace or artifact view. A good shared link should take the recipient to the exact context they need, not just the workspace root.

Before sharing, check that the recipient has the right workspace access and that the artifact visibility matches the intended audience.

Catalog Imports

The catalog provides reusable public or curated artifacts that can be imported into a workspace. Imported artifacts should still be reviewed in the destination workspace, linked to relevant local context, and treated as part of that workspace's record.

When To Use Each

  • Use a share route when the artifact already belongs in the workspace and another user needs to review it.
  • Use catalog import when a reusable artifact should become part of the workspace's local graph.
  • Use links after import to connect catalog material to the active operation.
